This issue pulls out all the stops. Cardinal, the guardian angel has been charged with guiding Deimos in his missions to banish evil from the Earth. But now Cardinal has been captured by an evil cult who once worshipped Deimos, in his heyday as a demon of Hell.
The cult plans to sacrifice Cardinal and will stop at nothing to return Deimos to his old, wicked ways. Will Deimos be able to rescue Cardinal, or will he ultimately cause the angel's death?

Sethan apparently wants to betray Bob and all of Hell. He wants to follow in Deimos’ footsteps and try for Heavenly forgiveness. Heaven may forgive him, but can Deimos? Can Deimos even trust his former lover?
As our story begins, Deimos gets a “message” from Azagoth in the form of Rusty’s headless corpse. It’s a message he’s not too happy about. One thing leads to another, and eventually Deimos follows a trail of clues right to Sethan’s bedpost.
